Accreditation, professional memberships, and international recognition verify our competence and build trust among businesses, regulators, and consumers.

The "Center for Environmental Certification and Ecolabelling" of the All-Ukrainian NGO Living Planet maintains national accreditation granted by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU).

Accreditation Certificate: № 10156 (UA)

Scope of Accreditation

Accreditation ensures that compliance assessments against environmental criteria are conducted impartially, independently, and in strict accordance with international standards. An active accreditation certificate is standard requirement in public tenders, retail supply chains, and international trade as definitive proof of a third-party assessment's validity.

International recognition of the CAB's assessments is secured through NAAU’s multilateral agreements and international standing:

  • European Accreditation (EA): NAAU is an associate member of the EA and a signatory to the EA Multilateral Agreement (EA MLA) via a bilateral recognition agreement for the certification of products, processes, and services. The EA recognizes that NAAU's operations fully meet EU regulatory accreditation requirements.
  • International Accreditation Forum (IAF): NAAU is a member of the IAF and a signatory to the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (IAF MLA) for product certification.

Consequently, accreditation issued by NAAU is legally equivalent to accreditation granted by national bodies in all other IAF MLA signatory countries.

Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN)

The Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN) unifies lifecycle-based ecolabelling programs worldwide, setting harmonized global baseline criteria. GEN is an associate member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and a partner of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

The NGO Living Planet has represented Ukraine in GEN since 2003 as the official operator of the "Green Crane" ecolabel program.
